> NEW SCIENTIST MAGAZINE (UK)
Skizzomat is proud having worked with New Scientist Magazine again for a thrilling explorer´s spread: The museum of missing things – things that literally gone lost in science history. Like exotic rocks or specimens, a long-necked sea monster in the 1700s, a whole mars polar lander in 1999 or the great loss of original bones of the human ancestor (called the Peking Man) in 1941.
Check it out in their next issue!

> TROOP MOVEMENT
Creating some little forced guys to play germ troops attacking other cells in the human body. These characters are just some early sketches, made from revolver parts and robot bits. So much fun! I love the tight metal machine elements with that skin-pink soft texture.
Let´s see who wins this fight...

> PITCH FOR WELT KOMPAKT (02/2011)
Skizzomat contributed a couple of freestyle motifs for newspaper Welt Kompakt´s second campaign. The designers chose the amazing collages of american artist Peter Sutherland over my artwork – bad for me that, but the right choice for the campaign. See all the striking pictures published in early 2011 on www.dorten.de/wk2.
Next time, guys!

> SEHNSUCHT NACH ABENTEUER
The desire for adventure: a playful series for german Donna magazine. Skizzomat illustrated a 4 page spread about 6 women living their dreams in very individual ways. Every collage contains original pictures and snapshots from each woman´s personal photoalbum plus little objects referring to their stories as well as hand drawings or graphics.

> PITCH FOR SKALPAFLOI (HH)
2 motifs out of 3 for I did last autumn for Hamburg-based brand studio skalpafloi for their pitch project for a financial business.
The art direction aimed for a certain handmade rough look, the key coulors cyan and magenta were given so we decided to go for a strong black-n-white contrast for the photo elements. I tried to use only few elements per illustration to keep them catchy and to get the topic straight across.
