... nice project for a german health & fitness magazine for next issue, coming in oct. 2008. skizzomat did the illustrations for a story about the different fitness types of women: e.g. 1. the trendsetter with wellness-ambition & celebrating the luxury factor of fitness,

2. the mother, who is always short of time and does sports as one of many dates on a day´s schedule, 3. the straight&tough always aiming to be the best and works out for maximum effect.

I recently did some sketches for a german newspaper project. the style is quite different from my other work, I think. ...has a kind of romantic touch. strange. I am not doing portraits very often.

I developed these little guys as part of a graphical language system for the coming MINI exhibition in Paris. I absolutely adore the sleepy asian girls!

> CORPORATE ILLUSTRATIONS FOR SAPERION

from time to time (since early 2007) I am doing some illustration work for Saperion Software Solutions. all artwork contains the clients logo (an expanding spiral) and is made of their corporate colours. recently I created this chrome-shimmering 3d-looking volume control, which will be part of an animated banner on Saperion website soon.

I did some corporate design work recently for brandnew international online art forum INDEPENDENT COLLECTORS.

they wanted a special look& feel for their communication to make a clear statement of their independence from usual art business and gallery structures. it should be kind of rough, open and in-progess.

design spread yet: business cards and stationary, press kit, pdf-guidance for users and media, look assistance for their website, little animated banners published on www.vvork.com

another piece created for destructed magazine issue 1984, done very quickly and intuitively. the second one is my final choice. this time a mixture of Orwell associations and personal memories – a bit too grey and depressive, right? that is what happens on a clowdy sunday whilst listening to Mensch-Maschine (Kraftwerk)...

I put the focus on the composition not a weightly statement – and only built it by elements and pics from flicker "search 1984". although the source footage was pretty dark the whole piece quite happy vibe I think.

I did this playful cut&paste illustration collage for german men´s Magazin FRONT for their summer fashion special 2008. even though it´s client work with a lot of "could you please change again..." or "we definitely need more..." I really like the particular temper of the composition – the architectural influenced shape and the rough black´n´white brush and marker elements. all models are created like dress-up-dolls – their heads, chests, feet and accessoires did not usually belong together...
